The Lecture will address the question, of whether a construction contract that incorporates an arbitration agreement requires an adjudicator’s decision to be enforced in arbitration (and therefore whether a party resisting enforcement was entitled to a stay under section 9 of the Arbitration Act). This will look at issues raised in part in Northumbrian Water Ltd v Doosan Enpure & Anor [2022] EWHC 2881. https://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/TCC/2022/2881.html
