Adjudication: Past, Present and Future

Speaker: John Redmond, Osborne Clarke

In February 2004 the very first Adjudication Society seminar in Bristol was delivered by one John Redmond. John spoke on “Themes from the Court of Appeal” with the themes being: (1) decisions are enforceable despite error; (2) decisions are immune to attack from other clauses; (3) the whole contract must be in writing, and; (4) jurisdictional challenges are to be viewed critically. Ten years on John will look at how things have moved on, where we are going, what we are doing wrong, how it might all be better and the scope for extending into non-construction.

Venue: Bevan Brittan, Kings Orchard, 1 Queen Street, Bristol BS2 0HQ

The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will also be held, starting at 5:45pm. See this AGM Notice.
