The Second CPD conference and dinner held by the Adjudication Society will take place on 18 and 19 June 2004 at the Waltham Abbey Marriott in Essex.
As last year, the conference will last from midday on Friday until Saturday afternoon with the option to stay on until Sunday morning.
The delegates will be able to choose from a range of options in relation to attendance and accommodation ranging from the Saturday session only, with no accommodation and lunch only, to the whole session from Friday lunchtime to Sunday morning including all meals and accommodation.
The Society's annual dinner will take place on the Friday night. The CPD sessions will be on Friday afternoon and Saturday and will take the form of short presentations of 20 minutes or so followed by longer discussion sessions. The layout will consist of tables each seating 10 or so delegates so there will be no reason why everyone should not get involved.
We hope to encourage a significant number of individuals from outside theSociety to attend as guests both of the society generally and invited by thedelegates in order to promote adjudication outside the Society.
So far the speakers include John Riches and Tony Bingham. If anyone else from the Society wishes to be involved they should contact Chris Hough.
The 2004 Annual Conference will take place on 18 November 2004 at the Radisson SAS Portman Hotel in London. This years theme is “The Greatest Show on Earth” and further details will be published on the website.
