New Arbitration/Adjudications Chambers to open in Chancery Lane

1 May, 2003

A new-style set of specialist construction chambers is to be established at No 1 Chancery Lane in June this year. The set will comprise two groups - the first is a set of barristers all of whom specialise in construction disputes (mostly as arbitrators, adjudicators and members of dispute resolution boards). The second group (ADR Associates) is a set of experienced construction professionals who act as arbitrators, adjudicators, DRB members, conciliators and mediators. The members of ADR Associates do not need to be legally qualified.

No 1 Chancery Lane will be ideal for 'disputologists' who primarily work away from Central London but who require their own arbitration/adjudication hearing rooms from time to time, who need occasional office space and office facilities in London and who feel they would benefit from the status, camaraderie and publicity (domestic and international) that these chambers will provide. Membership is currently available to suitable persons (barristers and non-barristers) from within the UK and overseas.
